JOHN LEWIS & PARTNERS APP REBRANDING
In September 2018 John Lewis & Partners underwent a major rebranding at the hands of Pentagram . My role was to design the translation of the new branding into the iOS App and work within a cross-functional agile team to bring the vision to life.
The redesign successfully modernised the user experience, leading to the app being featured as "App of the Day" in the App Store (July 2019).

DESIGN APPROACH
I developed a clear UI design language that combined Pentagram’s new brand guidelines with native iOS patterns, creating a premium “store-in-your-pocket” experience. I also built and maintained a UI Kit that integrated with the wider John Lewis Design System, helping designers and developers stay aligned across the agile team. Working closely with UX researchers, I supported usability testing and turned user insights into refined, high-performing interface components. Alongside design work, I collaborated with the Product Owner on sprint planning and backlog prioritisation to help maintain design quality within fast delivery cycles.
